Shirt #2 of the series.
I’ve been fascinated by the style of Chinese paper cuts. I had to do it.
↑ Research phase. I collected 100+ photos to review before designing the shirt. There were similar patterns on the leaves and animals to keep the design compact and intricate. Paper cut were symbols good fortunate and many use it for decorations during holidays.
Here’s the first draft.
↑ The year of the rabbit. Merging the TIZ logo in as the tee for it.
Something was missing. The shades.
Final:
Minute details of the hand carved edges were added.
↑ 2011.
↑Gold foil around the graphic.

I’ll be revealing one tee a day.
Check back tomorrow for Tee #3.
