After a long period of hesitation, I finally pulled the trigger.
The 24-105 L:
Welcome to the family.
How multi-purpose can this get? It holds your cold drinks and looks cool along side of the rest of your mugs.
I got this cup on a promotion for $15 free shipping. (Most places cost a bit more starting from 17ish + shipping.)
It’s truly a remarkable item – an item that gets talked about. The idea was original (Though, I’m sure the company I got the cup from wasn’t the first guy that started it) and it aimed particularly to the crowd of camera lovers who’s willing to purchase and help spread the word for it (to their other camera loving friends).
Look how beneficial it is to be “remarkable.” Let alone an item, how about a brand.
mm, the L lens goodness.
But being remarkable isn’t quite enough, It needs to be complemented with quality, so it wouldn’t end up as a fabricated hype bubble that can be burst easily.
This camera cup was awesome. However, the quality wasn’t as good as I hoped for. All the lettering seem to be printed correctly, but the print job was alright. The texture for the plastic isn’t as smooth as the lenses ( with such a low cost production, I guess it’s tolerable.) And since it’s full plastic, I’m afraid to drink anything hot with it.
I heard some other manufacturer made the AF MF switchable, too.
Overall, it’s fun thing to collect, I got it here. It’ll be shipped from HK, so it’ll take a few weeks.
