Career Driven – Yen’s Departure

After graduation, time seem to fly extra quickly. Fortunately, some of our friends have been getting on the right path and ready to take on the real world. Yen’s going to Shanghai tomorrow, this was our last meet up till who-knows-when.

Yen’s one of our brightest friends. You know, the guy who’d set the class curve and stuff. 不鳴則以,一鳴驚人. He planned to go for his CPA, but a trip to Shanghai changed everything. Now instead, he’s got the offer by one of the Big Four- Ernst & Young. He’ll be staying there for at least 2 years.

Kevin just finished his internship at a mobile app startup co. He plans to go to New York early next year to explore the design industry from the EastCoast. He’s got a few secret projects in the making, he’ll blow up in the design world soon enough.

These are my double E (Electrical Engineer) buddies. Cody’s still got a few quarters at Davis, but he’s currently interning full time at Cisco.

Kyle, too, has a few more quarters in Davis. He’s interning full time at St. Jude Medical.

Kyle told me that the hangouts are the moments he looks forward to everyday after work. haha.

While some of our friends are still in Davis and Southern California, we managed to get a quick meet up before Yen’s departure.

A while no see, with their collar shirts tucked in, we still act like boys. Same ol’ same ol’.

↑I told them about my recent 365 projects.

They participated.

↑This is Marge from Simpsons.

↑This is an eggplant.

We don’t get moments like this too often the future. Not even close to as much as we’d like to.

Michelle’s been studying her butt off for the upcoming LSAT.

We still got a long way to go, I wonder what will happen to us for the next couple of years. Good luck to you all, hope all the best.
