Day Trip to..A lot of places

Vacaville, San Francisco, and San Jose. That’s 3 distant locations, 1 whole day, and half of a tank.

To celebrate the 3-day weekend, we cramped all the good places into one. After a nutritious meal of McDonald, we took off – from Davis.

Michelle’s dad’s bday was just right around the corner, where else can possibly be any better for gift hunts than Vacaville.

It was no child play.

While waiting, I had a moment to take pics of some new addition to the car.

Luck charm from Japan. Given by Michelle.

Most flexible zebra out there. Given by Angela.

Next Stop, San Francisco

Carmut got a haircut.

There’s no escape from the camera.

Look how happy Joey was.

Dinner time!

We dropped by Cody’s Harbor Fish n Chip’s, again. Everyone’s been having the crave for it.

Yen’s regular smile picture. Rare.

Then, I tried to look back at the times where Yen’s shocking camera moments:

But to realize this was the ONLY one, the rest were all quite okay.

Cody’s Yen impersonation.

Kevin did it, too.

Michelle had a go.

And only to conclude: Cody wins.

Anyway, back to the food. Harbor Fish n Chips seriously made the other fish n chips stores look bad. The fish was fresh and simply HUGE. Variety of dishes offered. It’s a family store, too.

look how happy Kyle was.

Fantasia was our next SJ stop. While walking, just right around the store corner, I spotted this poster. So much effort spent for this one, the person even brought a red pen, too. Now I was if the person had a spontaneous moment, just did he/she went specifically for it.

V-Bar was next. Unfortunately, dress-code was enforced and we still needed a pair of shoes.

My ninja look didn’t quite make me a nimble as the ninjas.

So here was the plan:

It worked.

Joey was excited.

So much win.

All had a good time, with our new friend – Melody.

That wrapped up the day. (followed by a 2 hour drive back home. ) Fun times. The End.
