Woot, TIZ on Dfined Magazine.
↑ I was asked to answer a couple of fundamental questions about ourselves and running a clothing brand. While spending most of my time with the designs and projects, I never gotten a chance to write about what TIZ stands for on our website; this was an opportunity for me to gather my thoughts.
Just a few snippets from the whole interview:
Are there any challenges you run into while running a business ?
– Not putting profit ahead of everything was a challenge. There are probably a hand-full of ways to make the money come in the door a lot quicker, but often times, those ways are also selling out the brand’s authenticity. I am a firm believer that by taking care of your supporters, top-notching the quality of your products, and keeping things personal will eventually lead to profit, not the other way around.
What ways did you find promoting your brand worked ?
– Put 110% into the product and its quality. That was, to me, the most effective promotion tool. Pay full attention to details of each design and quality of each print making sure the person receiving the shirt will be as happy as I crafted them.

Keep up the open mind.
