Fame recap & my thoughts as a vendor.

Invited by Bobbie Vie, I headed out to our first San Jose event. It was right after finals and before spring break – perfect timing.

To me, an event consists of a few major elements: The vendors that fuel the show, the performances that attracts the crowd, and the people that make the event sustainable (so there could be another one).

Us vendors have a couple of common goals: Sell our products, exposures (so we can sell our products in the future), and shake hands(so we can collaborate and hook each other up with exposure, then sell our products in the future).

It’s that simple, but often times some events just can’t maintain those elements. This one nailed it.

So here’s the recap:

Arrived around 4pm.

Brought the portable banner. That’s right. Hard work paid off .

Michelle came with. The venue’s spacious.

Second time setting up. Done.

We also tried a game with the people. I’ll show you later.

When you come to our tabling event next time.

Part II:

Met TONS of creative and ambitious fellas and ladies.

Here’s Eugene from Sick Star. He came all the way from OC. hot dam.

Hooked me up with hella stickers. He’s a good man.

Jon from RAH! Fully Laced. I’ve seen those RAH stickers everywhere, it was cool to have finally met the master mind behind it all.

Amazing graphic designs – peeps from Cukui.

Originated from SJ – Halloway

Ralph and Mark from Suhreal.

Jacob from Oddmenout.

Ha. Great job, OMO.

Other than clothing brands, there were other intriguing exhibitors.
Ryan and Jordan’s running their own rebuild bike biz.

I’d totally ride one of these, if I know how to ride one of these. Bike license here I come.

Amy Ng from Mr.DeadFish.

I was this close (|–|) in getting that Nintendo controller thing. even when I had no idea what it does.

All kinds of crafty toys and plush.

Last but not least, hailing from Davis, our comrade – Unbound Vision.

They showed the peeps from FAME a sneak peak of their spring collection. Stay tune!

3rd part:

Bobbi did a great job at keep the crowd entertained. DJs, Bboys, Bgirls, and graffiti artists all came out to support FAME.

And of course, the highlight- Fashion show.

Ah, people.

Met again, Julian from Wear&Tear Everything.

Tyson and his cousin Derek were there, too. Super supportive.

Unfortunately, I never gotten a chance to meet this guy, Michelle did. He slap a TIZ sticker on his cell phone with no hesitation. Props.

The most adorable girl from the event. She said she’s willing to let me take a picture because she took one of TIZ’s stickers. hahah

Daphne. Thanks!

Bobbie, the master mind. Great job!

Also, JR and Ja Jack, thanks for your help!

And finally, the lady that endure it all. The 4 – 10 pm toll of sitting and selling tshirts.

BAM.

Great event over all, see you guys soon.
