This post has been way delayed due to some technical difficulties. Well, better late than never, yea?
After his 9-year journey of sweat, blood, and tear in the States, Jimbo’s made up his mind and decided to pursue his career back in Taiwan. (Although, he promised to come back to Silicon Valley, where the heart of technology is, to launch his start-up. Now that everyone’s reading this, you besta keep yo words, Jim.) To wrap up his stay, he gathered everyone to have one last party. So, just a couple of weeks before the departure, majority of us made a trip down to LA to hang with Jim one last time.
I’ve known Jimbo for a good 4 years. For all the people that I’ve shared a drink with, Jimbo’s by far the most epic drunk (with the most stories, for that matter.) Aside from the propaganda remarks that he’d make, he’d get everyone around him drunk, too. And I simply can’t pass on that.
↑ Tony and I drove down the day before we put our livers to test.
Too bad not all members from the crew could make it. However, I’m still glad most of us are still here to witness the entertainment Jimbo’s ready to showcase (unintentionally.)
Connie’s Pa ready to cook up a feast.
Not sure Kyle’s lining up the corn or picking up the corn.
Calm before the the storm:
Jimbo’s grew a tremendous amount of interest in wine recently. Not only has he been visiting Napa like it’s his backyard, he’s also been collecting some of most tasty wines. To spice up the party, Jim brought out all six of his favorite bottles. (I lost count at 2, my bad)
Shall we?
↑Some of us still prefer barley and hop over grapes.
After a few sips, everyone’s got a smile on their faces.
And the red glow for some.
Good corn, good convo.
Tony and Amy made it right on time.
Bottle number 2 (the last bottle I remember opening.)
Fans of Sapporo out there?
A little fact about Joey: He’s drank up to 38( THIRTY EIGHT) shots once before he passed out. Crowned to be the ultimate drinker of the crew, except he doesn’t drink often at parties. And when he does, he’d call people out:
..until they drink.
↑Mission accomplished.
Tony seemed to have enough.
Pie.
Karaoke!
Our new friend, Kenny, tearing up the stage.
..but he wasn’t as emotional as this guy:
↑ Where do you think Lehom gets his lessons from? 只要有心 人人都是歌神
All day, every day.
Harold and Jerry came through after the USC game. Good times.
Sign of a good time.
Time flew right pass us. Jimbo took the flight back last Saturday. There were just a few of us left in Nor-Cal to say good bye.
Countless stories and histories made while you were here. Best of luck to ya, man.
↑ Zeeb of the day.
If you’d like to be the zeeb(s) of the day. Send us photos of you rockin’ em Zeebs! or via Facebook, Twitter, or just tumblr label #tiz or #theimaginaryzebra..etc!
