what a name, huh? It’s a young restaurant/popsicle shop here in the cuts of Davis.
It was Friday afternoon. Kevin, James(who finally found the time), and I got together for brunch. For the Davis folks, food has always been taken care of at places like Plutos, In-n-out, Chipotle, Old Tea House…etc, we wanted to try something different – Fat Face was just right.
Right before we entered, I saw this:
*Watch it, before I fence your ass.
This caught our eyes when we first entered.
The place wasn’t big – It’s a renovation of a garage. Most of it was filled with freezers, sinks, and machines. The walls are covered by artworks of pops.
I assume this the owner of the place – Jaymes.
Interesting little things lay around the floor.
Their expertise.
They also offer “sammwiches”, which is what we came here for. The “sammwiches” were around 7 bucks.
Underneath the Crayons, tables were covered by sheets of construction paper. Kinda like the Olive Garden/Cafe Italia type thing, which I personally dig very much. James seemed to agree.
We had too much fun, I even forgot to take pictures of the food.
Well, this is their location.
It’s at 425 L street. L STREET. Not even the residents of Davis would ever stumble upon this place, but I recommend going – It’s a fun place to hang out and sip on some popsicles.
It’s always fun to see shops like these, so I did a bit research. Here’s their info.
