First shooting Range Experience!

A friend of ours, Perlin, is heading back to Taiwan. We decided to hang out once more before her departure. Shooting range was where we ended up. I’ve always wanted to try, time’s finally come.

This place’s in Milpitas – Target Masters West. Great people, great place, but horrible web site. I was quite confused with the pricing and rules until I get to talk to one of the staffs (And thanks Perlin for info). Here’s to sum it up:

A lane is $10/hr.
Adding an extra person to the lane is $6/hr.
Gun rental range from $8-$12 (for beginners like us.)
And amo’s around $4-$35/box depending on its caliber.
Protection gear rental’s $1. Targets are about $.25-$1.
The pricing’s fairly decent (Not sure how much other shooting range charges) in terms of entertainment.

We all got to try sometime, this kid’s way ahead of us.

I’ve never seen this many shotguns, rifles, and pistols in the same place.

This guy got bangs!?

Kevin was pumped.

Yen’s trying it for the first time, too.

Perlin and Joey’s the few that had experience. She’s got aim. Assassin status.

I brought my bro along. Too bad I couldn’t be the guardian. And he didn’t bring any forms of photo ID. No play, sorry.

Targets.

.22. Look like em’ old school 007 type stuff.

Limited to 2 people per lane. Time to fire ’em up.

Don’t blame jim. The kid at the far left lane got a frkin’ shotgun.

Situation. Bullet jam. Pro came to rescue.

Don’t place thumb behind the pistol. The slide could split the thumb.

Adrenalin rush.

Joey’s got aim, too.

I bought the blue target as a “souvenir.”

I got a bullseye, son.  Don’t mess.

The hole sizes indicates the 2 different caliber pistol that we tried.

Old school revolver.

Good day. After splitting the cost, it turned out to be around $15/person (with 7 of us). I highly recommend trying this out.
