Japan Trip – Day 4!

Yet another day, can’t stop won’t stop.

First stop of the day, Ghibli Museum. Our ticket’s at 12PM, had to take off early even we lived just a few stops away.

Quick tip, buy the tickets early, they sell out QUICK. Residents can buy em’ at Lawson, as for foreigners..find a travel agency or friends living in Japan to help out. Thanks, Shun (our friend from Japan).

Museum located at Mitaka.

↑Is it me, or do the taxis in Japan look cooler. A lot of us noticed that the cars in Japan are always clean, no joke.

This is exactly what the Bandai Museum needed.

Just across from the train station, the museum has their own buses to bring people back and forth.

Ghibli Museum’s of this guy. You might know him recently from “Spirited Away” or “Ponyo”, but he’s also done MANY animated films in the past. The museum’s got 3 levels, which showcases his studio, which was out of this world, as well as many of his sketches and production process of his shorts and films. We also got to watch one of his new short film. Except it was in Japanese. with no subtitle.

Unfortunately, no camera allowed in the museum. This place’s a must go, if you ever visited Japan.

Good news, on the top floor, there’s an outdoor garden that’s camera friendly.

↑This guy’s from “City of the Sky”

Green tea pudding.

Next stop, Daiba, where we get to see the Tokyo Rainbow Bridge and their biggest TV station – Fuji.

↑That’s right, they have a Statue of Liberty as well. much smaller, though.

Fuji TV station!

↑Around 5:30PM. We were waiting for the sunset to take some night shots of this place.

Our ONLY group photo of the trip.

McDonald’s shrimp burger for snack.

Now up to the Fuji Station.

↑ Yea, the Tamagotchi’s the size of my hand. It was in working condition too, made for King-Kong.

Cameras allow inside, except I knew none of the celebs or hosts.

Then, we got Frankie in his new GTR R34.

Almost dark.

↑Love this place.

Later that night, we headed towards Roppongi.

I heard Roppongi Station’s the deepest one in Japan.

Other than clubs and bars, there’s not much around here.

Long night, till next day.
