Los Angeles – Day 1

Woot internet, . Currently staying at the Red Lion Hotel in Garden Grove.
The drive down to LA wasn’t too horrible, took a few bathroom breaks. (Didn’t get a chance to try the 40 pieces McNuggets that Frank talked about, but all is swell.)

It’s always nice to take a break, even if it’s a sudden one.

Couple minutes away from the hotel, there’s a huge Viet town. My taste buds haven’t been as adventurous as I’d like them to be, here was my chance to explore assorted viet cuisines.

↑ That’s actually a Chinese dish (乾炒牛河). They’re everywhere.

↑ Family friend, Jocelyn.

↑ Michelle’s bro, Calvin

↑ Heard it was the first Asian Market in LA. Judging by the buildings, perhaps.

↑ Lee’s Sandwich’s like the Starbucks for the viet towns. It’s everywhere.

Next stop – Soaking up the sun.

↑Huntington beach. Aside from the beach, half nude folks flooded across the streets. Utopia for you half nude peeps.

↑I chose the wave to conceal my overwhelmingly white feet. (Look out, Edward. )

↑ Julian, the future photographer.

Dinner at..

Umm, seafood joint.

↑ I coulda sworn I’ve seen her on TV.

Wrapped the day up with some desserts.

↑ Everything’s pre-made, however. 3 stars.

More updates soon.
