The Cruise – Mexico

Like announced last week, I was away to Mexicooo. Here’s what happened (Ready for a 50+ photo entry):

The cruise departed from Long Beach and took us to 3 cities of Mexico, supposedly, to enjoy some sun, some shopping, and some recreation.

First stop’s LA. Michelle and I flew down the day before to hang with a few friends.

Yance, Aaron, and Lambo. Good old friends.

We stayed over at Joey’s. He also took us from Airports and to terminals. Props.

This one’s for Kevin and Yen.

Last time I cruised when I was 5..or an age that doesn’t quite remember things except for swimming pools and desserts.

“I’m on a mutha flipping booooat”

The ship was massive.

Tall hallways, too. Everyone knows how tall Michelle is.

Elegant dining. Everyday. For the rest of the cruise.

We tabled with a bunch of good folks. David and his grandparents. Mr. Gao, his wife -Elizabeth, and son Jonathan.

Looks great, isn’t it.

One of the best things about the cruise is the towel animals after their room cleaning.

everyday is a surprise.

fun at Sea.

They’ve got water slides, too.

Felt pretty weird when I stared out the window and all I saw was the Pacific ocean.

Buffet. All day, everyday. Free of charge(or pre-paid).

Mongolian BBQ.

Room service. Free of charge(but tipping recommended).

Of course, an arcade can be found at every vacational spots. This one’s a bit off, sorry Windows.

Our first day on land – Puerto Vallarta.

It was a city tour for us.

Checked out the cathedral that was built in the 1800s.

Streets of Mexico.

They’ve got some strange little ceramics decorations.

Right?

Cost me a few bucks to take a picture with this fella.

Mango Margarita.

Tasted pretty strong. I’m not much of a margarita fan, but hey, we were on vacation.

twitter.

I had to do it.

—————————————————————————————————————————

We stayed at the same island as oppose to the next one- Mazatlan.
Why? Because our captain backed the ship into a mini-pier. It took an extra day to repair it.

Here’s the illustration.

So we spent the day on the boat..eating, instead.

I coudln’t made out of this towel animal at first, then I think it’s a Monkey head planted into the bed.

We went to Cabo San Lucas.

Sea Trek, where we wear a 75lb helmet and walk 20 ft under the sea. They said it was the next best thing when it comes to walking on the moon. And it was, but it was super cold as well. We bought a $20 water proof camera to take photos of the fish and sealion that swam by.

But we lost the camera while jet skiing.

I had to do it.

Warm sun, cold booze, good vacation.

Crime scene – where we lost the water proof camera.

Later the same day was formal dining night.

Carnival really got this towel thing down.

Day 6. Time to head back. Now time seem to be passing by wayyy too fast.

So we took this chance to slow things down and really enjoy the things among us.

Like sunsets.

and casinos.

Good thing we broke even. Had my first experience to sit next to a table for black jacks – the rush was incredible, until you start loosing.

It was especially windy that day.

—————————————————————————————————————————

Our friendly waiter and waitress for the entire cruise – Andriy, from Ukraine, and Monika, from Hungary.

They’d put up a show every other dinner.

Sometimes they sing, sometimes they dance.

Monika got her groove on and wrapped up the cruise.

The trip was a whole lotta fun with a whole lotta food.
It’s nice to have time off every once in a while. Work hard, but remember to take breaks, too.
It’d truly enhance your productivity. Google gives their employees 20% time for themselves – fact.
