Why hello Formosa

Arrival. This is not exactly up to date due to the lack of internet access for the past few days. Granted with no internet access, I’ve squeezed the juice out of each day to soak up that sun. and sweat.

First thing I notice on the way back home from the airport is the count-down street lights.

Would it encourage the drivers to treat every light as a race? Heard the government is going to take it down, soon. Not only does it start a race, many drivers also like take off a few seconds before the green light. The count-down device seems to be the perfect suicide machine.

Breakfast time: all for less than $6.

mmhmm.

One of the biggest chain store in Taiwan isn’t Starbucks(though, plenty), but 7-11.

I thought we should try a new flavor now that we’re back in Taiwan. So my brother and I tried the “honey bitter mellon” and “citron chrysanthemum tea”

I should’ve known how bad it’d taste just by the title.

Then we swung by a line of people.

Here’s what they’re waiting for:

Panda for approx. 40 cent(converting to US) each.

Very quickly, the morning’s past. What’s there better to do then swing by the night market.

Stores here doesn’t close till 12 AM.

Food stands flooded the streets.

Then we ended the day by having our supper at this “Toilet Restaurant”

Good for a blog post, bad for dinner.
