All the pillows that we’ve worked on are now available at Plushtography.com
This is one of the biggest projects that I’ve worked on in the past. Thought I’d share a few stats regarding Plushtography: First off
↑ Idea was to create something fun, legible, and camera related. We tweaked a couple of different type faces and eventually ended with this one. Since all of our products are hand made, we added the stitches, thread, and needle to emphasize on that matter and give the logo more personality. Accent of red was added to make the logo less heavy and, no denying, to show our Canon pride. Nikon’s pretty awesome, too, we just haven’t found a way to incorporate the gold into the logo, yet. No hate.
The website:
↑ I struggled the most with the site. Even after days of sketching out layout ideas for the site, I still couldn’t figure out one that really hits the spot.
I went with the classy aesthetic route, knowing less is more. But even now, I feel that something’s missing. The site will be in the works again soon.
The menu was inspired by the mode dial.
Label’s like the cherry on up.
Making the pillows look much more professional.
Last but not least:
↑ A quick glance at the evolution. Months and months of refinements. We didn’t even have the color to start with the prototype. We tested different materials, stitching techniques, and stuffing proportions. What you will receive is the perfect pillow on the far right, one with just the right shape, softness, and design.
Here are the 3 pillows we’re offering:
↑Nikon 35mm.
↑50mm prime. f1.8. Almost every Canoners first lens investment.
And the 24-105mm ready for pre-order.
↑ We call it the Big Baby because it’s pretty freaking huge.
Have fun snuggling with the pillows! – Plushtogrpahy
’til next time,
