TIZ’s going to Nameless Magazine’s last event this Tuesday – Expression Redefined. It’s always been fun. We’re pretty much given all the creative freedom to present any project there. Definitely inspiring to see all the passionate peeps that show up.
Anyway, this time around, I’ve talked to the team to come up with a fun project for the event. “Stop Motion” was it. Most certainly a rewarding project because it takes a crap load of effort making it. Good thing hard-work’s never an obstacle to us college students. Even if it meant 450+ pictures taken from 12 – 7:30 AM.
It took us a week to plan out the scenes, gather all the materials, locate appropriate places for the shoot, and figure out everyone’s schedule. We ended up realizing that with the time given, midnights are the only times we get to all get together for the shoot. So we started a bit late:
Materials.
Prepping and getting the actor and actress ready for the long night.

Crime scene.
Tim was handling the photos. At least 4 frames per second.
Eric, the actor, had no idea what he got himself into.
The weapon of mass destruction. Literally.

Li and Eden had prep every scene to make sure it was just right.
Exhaustion hit.

Never knew milk chocolate tasted this good at 4 in the morning.

Almost 6 hours into the shoot.
Cool kicks.
Tim’s breaking down.

At least 7 hours and 30 minutes. Was how long we took to capture all the photos. Can’t be anymore epic than this. Final review before wrapping things up.
Sun came out to greet us.
Mad props to all the people who are involved in the project. Great job! Final video will be premier at the Nameless Magazine event Tuesday night.
