Got to work with KIWIN’S, a volunteer club that helps around the community and partners up with the community and do service activities, from Hercules.
A brief backgound of the club before I started the design:
– Volunteer club
-Jade Division
-Mascot: Jaguar 
↑Their current emblem – a really simple design covered in blue.
Plan: Work around the logo and bring out the mascot.
So before I started the sketching process, I did some quick research on “Jaguars”.
With some references, a super lame attempt at drawing the big cat. 
Worked around the the letters. 
Final sketch: I incorporated the mascot to the design and preserved the rope boarders.
The overall style is minimal illustration. I chose that particular style to reflect the liveliness of the club and make it less serious for the members when they help out.
