Cups Full of Cake – Design Process

[Cups full of Cake] is an uprising cupcake shop in Arizona.
To kick start their business, they’ll be giving out different flavor cupcakes to people in return for their reviews.
Not just that, I was invited to come up with a design for a limited shirt for the very first 50 testers.

Here’s the design process:

Background:
-Cups Full of Cake established in Feb. 2010.
-All happened in the Grand Canyon State -Arizona.
-Only 50 printed

I wanted to make a memorable shirt that includes all the info, yet wanted to keep thing clean and simple. First thought of including the Grand Canyons – but decided not to, for it might not be too appetizing. Eventually ended up with this:

After digitizing:

To emphasize on the exclusiveness of this tee- we added the # of 50 to each shirt.
This is the back design:

Neck labels were also made to complete the overall attributes of this tee.

“100% Cotton. 100% Cupcake.”

Placement on shirts!

Update:
They’re having a contest to giveaway these tees!
They want to name the character on the shirt, so who ever can give the best name to the character would win a shirt!
More info on how to get your hands on one of these, check their [facebook page here.]

Have fun!
