Nameless Magazine |ˈnāmlis magəˈzēn| def. – n. A student-run online publication that showcases the works of writers and visual artists at UC Davis.

They’re a group of gifted people, so it was quite cool when they asked us to come up with a tee for ’em.

Yet a bunch of random doodles.
The idea the popped up instantly was the “my name is..” sticker you wear during first meetings. I thought it’d be fun having a name tag that says .. Nameless. Completely defeats the name tag’s purpose, yet allow people to interpret the meaning of the title unlike the usual glance-and-forget for actual names.
But that’d be too simple, so I used fonts of all kinds, some elegant, some modern, some urban, and some simple, to spell out Nameless. Each letter symbolizes an aspect of the group.
With all that in mind, here’s the design:
