Oh man, it’s been a while since I last went out to the bay to try something new. (With my mom’s cooking, I can eat home all day.)
This time we’re tried pizza. Pizza’s always been my favorite dish along side sandwiches and burgers. Like Jim, a big part of the reason why I love pizza so much is because I get to grab it with my own hands. I always find it interesting seeing people enjoying pizzas with utensils. Anyway, here’s the place:
↑This particular restaurant’s not part of the SF 7×7 list. But why did we still try it?
It’s got 1500+ reviews with a 4.5 stars!!
They have locations at the Mission district, Albany, and Western Addition. We tried the one from Albany, closer to my place. (Albany 1175 Solano Ave.)

↑For dinner with my family (5 of us), we got 2 deep dishes for take out. The restaurant (7PM at the time) in Albany wasn’t as crowded as I expected. Though, I heard there’s always a line from their Mission district branch.

They’re known for their deep dishes, thick and dense pie with massive amount of cheese, ingredients, and covered with a layer of their own tomato sauce. A size large can serve up to 3-4 people.
Yum.

That’s right, we use bowl for everything.

↑Look how happy my dad was.

This was a heavy weight class pizza. I was done with just 2 slices of this pie. 3 and a half’s prolly the most I can devour if I were REALLY hungry.
The taste was pretty heavy as well, so it was super good for the first bite, then it started to turn average later on. I’d say this is a pretty decent restaurant and I’d love to go back..every 6 months just to beast out.
